Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy S25 Slim, which will be the fourth version in the Galaxy S25 series. While there’s much talk about how thin the Slim variant will be, a new report suggests the launch timeline and pre-order dates for the Galaxy S25 series. The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be introduced in January next year, along with the vanilla Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra models. These models are likely to launch in Korea in February.
Leaked Galaxy Unpacked Event Date
According to industry sources cited by Fnnews, Samsung will hold its Galaxy Unpacked event in the USA on January 23, 2025, at 3:00 AM (1:30 PM IST) to reveal the Galaxy S25 series. The company will reportedly begin accepting pre-orders for the phones from January 24 to February 3. The sale of the phones is said to start on February 4 for customers who pre-reserved the handsets. This timeline aligns with previous Galaxy S series launches.
Samsung previously began sales of Galaxy S series phones approximately two weeks after unveiling them at the Galaxy Unpacked event. In 2024, pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 series started after the January 17 launch event, with phones becoming available for sale on January 31.
Launch in Korea
The report further states that Galaxy S25 series smartphones will officially launch in Korea on February 7. The brand is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 Slim at its Unpacked event on January 23. It is anticipated to be thinner than the 7.6mm Galaxy S24.
