Gorakhpur: In Gorakhpur, UP, Vinod Forest is now going to be a new attraction for tourists. After the shift of Hathi Ganga Prasad shifted to the zoo, the forest department has prepared a plan to develop this area as a tourist destination. Here all new facilities will be added to enjoy experiences like adventure sports, camping and yoga practice.

Forest will open for tourists in February

Hathi Ganga Prasad was brought to Vinod Van in February 2023. After which the entry of the general public was stopped. Now the cleaning and preparation of Vinod forest is in full swing as soon as the elephant shifts. There is a plan to open it again for tourists from February 2025.

Nature and adventure confluence

The forest department has already prepared two cottages here. While three more cottages will be made. Tourists will be able to enjoy the calm and natural environment of the forest by staying in these cottages. Also, tent camping facility will also be available. Where friends can have fun among family or office group nature.

New initiative of yoga and health

In Vinod Van, two yoga centers will be built on the lines of Ayodhya, in which 40-40 people will be able to do yoga. Eco -friendly bamboo -made symbolic fences, restaurants and shelter homes for tourists.

New activities and facilities

Tourists will be provided facilities for bird watching, nature camping, adventure activity and Arogya Eco, Tourism Center. Apart from this, Butterfly Park and Ayush Van will also become the center of attraction. To implement these schemes, the Forest Department has sent a proposal to the Tourism Department. The special focus of the forest department is on environmental protection. All construction works will be done with bamboo. So that this project is environmentally friendly.

Vinod One will become a unique tourist destination

DFO Vikas Yadav said that Vinod is preparing to make Vinj Van a major tourist destination of Gorakhpur. Tourists coming here will be able to erase their fatigue by staying close to nature and will return with memorable experience. Vinod One is ready for a new beginning from February. Where there will be a unique experience of the confluence of adventure, yoga and nature.
