Yes, this record is in the name of Bapu Nadkarmi, a former spinner of the Indian cricket team and a player who said goodbye to the world, he gave only 5 runs in 32 overs in the Test match against England in Chennai in 1964, out of which 27 overs maidens were thrown.
He made his Test debut in 1955 against New Zealand in Delhi and played his last Test match against the same opponent in 1968 in Auckland under the leadership of MAK Pataudi. However, he is remembered for scoring 21 consecutive maidens. Bapu Nadkarni bowled 21 consecutive overs against the England team without any runs, which is an unbroken world record till date.
