Geeta Singh was born in a very small village in Uttarakhand. The village was so small that only about 50 people lived there. After some time his family moved to Meerut, a small town in Uttar Pradesh. It was there that Geeta was brought up.

Spent first 4 years in Uttarakhand village
Geeta spent the first four years of her life in the same village of Uttarakhand. This village was Phula Kapkot village a few kilometers away from the small town of Bageshwar. Living in a village with a population of 50 people was not easy. There the people reared livestock and cultivated terraced fields.
After her schooling, Geeta went to Delhi to study further. There Geeta took admission in Delhi University for a bachelor’s degree in Political Science Honors while interning in various media institutes including Dainik Jagran and Zee TV. Then after passing there with good marks, he decided to start a career in media and at the age of 25, he started his own business.
Started the company with only one female employee
In 2012, Geeta started The Yellow Coin Communication, a PR and communication firm in Delhi, from her home at a cost of just Rs 50,000. At that time he had only one female employee. Geeta used to give salary of Rs 13000 to that employee. Geeta had asked the lone employee to bring her own laptop to work in her home office.
Today turnover of 7 crores

Due to good work and behavior, people liked Geeta’s work and oral and online marketing was also good, due to which she got many big customers. His PR agency has become a company with a turnover of Rs 7 crore today. Today around 50 employees are working in a 2200 sq ft office in Jasola, Delhi.
Geeta Singh told a colleague of our journalist that she did her first deal in Mobile India. It was a web portal of digital gadgets. They needed content for their website and translation of English-Hindi articles. Geeta did not get any initial help from her father. Geeta’s father was an ordinary government employee. His wish was that Geeta should also do some government job.

According to an anecdote, when Geeta had made up her mind to start her own company, she was trying to demand 10,000 rupees from her father, but her father refused to give the money that no one in our family ever did business. He was the first person to get a government job in his village. Father had wanted Geeta to give competitive exams for government jobs. But Geeta had made her decision.
Geeta’s father Man Singh had been in government service as a lower division clerk. Geeta also understood to her father that she loved her four children very much and wanted a good and fixed job life for them.

Geeta had previously worked in BBC’s documentary department, Channel V, Jiva Ayurveda’s communications, PR agencies and advertising agencies. He also did freelancing work as a video editor, for which he got 2 thousand rupees per hour. He also did some people’s work for free. Which they also got the benefit of. These people got in touch with some other people, from whom they got bigger works.
In the year 2012, Geeta laid the foundation of her firm ‘The Yellow Coin Communication’. After this, after working in many small projects, he also got the job of ‘Mobile India’ and then also got the job of marketing Chetan Bhagat’s Novel Revolution 2020.

After the work was done well, ‘The Yellow Coin Communication’ became a private limited company in the year 2014. He also got the work of Patanjali in the same year. In the year 2015, the turnover of Geeta’s company had reached Rs 1 crore. Geeta’s husband Saurabh also supports her a lot. Her husband Saurabh is a Supreme Court lawyer. She had met him at Jagran Institute, where he also studied before his law degree.
