On the day of Karva Chauth, married women keep a Nirjala fast for the long life of their husbands. The fast is broken after seeing the moon at night. This festival or fast, which is celebrated every year on the Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month, is now on 24 October 2021 i.e. on Sunday.

Being a Sunday, once again after five years an auspicious yoga is also being formed because the worship of Karva Chauth will also be done in Rohini Nakshatra and being a Sunday, the blessings of Sun God will also be received by the fasting women.

According to the Hindu calendar, this year the moon will also emerge in Rohini Nakshatra and Karvachauth fasting worship will also take place in this constellation. The Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha will start from 3.1 am on Sunday, October 24, which will last till 5:43 am on Monday, October 25. And the time of moon rise is at 8.11 am. And the auspicious time for worship is from 06:55 to 08:51 in the evening.
Worship method –
After getting up early in the morning, after taking bath etc., worship Lord Ganesha and observe a fast for the whole day. And for worship in the evening, keep incense, lamp, sandalwood, roli, vermilion in a plate and light a ghee lamp. Start the puja an hour before the moon rises. After this, after seeing the moon or seeing her husband’s face in a sieve, break the fast.
