Laxman Jhula Rishikesh
Lord Rama’s younger brother Lakshmana had crossed the river with the help of jute ropes at this place. Inspired by Swami Vishwananda, this bridge was made of strong iron wires in 1889. There is a temple of Lord Lakshmana on the west side of this bridge. While its other side is the temple of Lord Rama. It is said that Shri Ram himself had come to this place himself. After crossing the bridge, the foot path leads to Badrinath and to the right and to Swarg Ashram.
