Airport terminal forest is ready to open soon
According to airport sources, before the closing of the terminal two, the airport operators Delhi International Airport Limited (Dial) are preparing to open the terminal one completely. It is worth mentioning last year that the canopy of the departure area of the Terminal One-D is not a complete terminal operation. This terminal has been completed by Dial. Currently, Dial is waiting for the inspection of the Bureau of Civil Aviation (BCAS) and Green Single. As soon as the approval comes from the BCAS, the terminal forest will be completely opened.
A part of the runway will be closed for technical upgradation
According to airport sources, some technical upgrade will also be made in one of the runway 28/10 for the flight operation during the fog. Keeping the upgrade work in mind, the position on the Dwarka side of the runway 28/10 is set to stop the operation from 10 side. During this time, the work of equipment related to CAT Three B and upgrade to ILS will also be completed on this side of the runway. It is expected that the refurbity of terminal two and upgradation of the runway will be completed simultaneously. Both facilities from August or symbol will be ready for flight operation.
The first upgrade was made in 2008
