Thrillophilia Names Jaisalmer as Top Tourist Destination in New Ranking

Thrillophilia, the online travel portal, has unveiled its list of the 25 best cities to visit in India during December. Topping the list is Jaisalmer, followed by Rishikesh in second place and Goa in third. Udaipur, known for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, secured the 15th spot. Jaipur and Ranthambore also made it to the list, ranking 12th and 22nd respectively.

Udaipur, surrounded by the Aravalli mountain range in southern Rajasthan, is renowned for its interconnected natural lakes, historic Rajput-era forts, grand palaces, architectural temples, and vibrant festivals. Key attractions include Pichola Lake, City Palace, Eklingji Temple, Amrai Ghat, Vintage Car Museum, and Shilpgram.

Tourism in Udaipur peaks in December, with the city hosting the 10-day Shilpgram Mahotsav from 21st to 30th December, featuring artists and craftsmen from across India. The New Year celebrations on 31st December attract thousands of visitors nationwide.
