Why MS Dhoni don’t use Indian flag on Helmet ?

Dhoni never put the tricolor on his helmet, the reason being that while keeping wickets, Dhoni sometimes had to take off his helmet and put it down on the ground. And according to the National Flag Code, the tricolor cannot be kept on the ground. In view of this insult to the tricolor, Dhoni never got the tricolor on his helmet.
